About Madeline
With over 10 years of experience working with children and families in the social work field, I am a compassionate and skilled therapist dedicated to supporting the emotional and psychological growth of children. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Portland State University. My goal is to help children and youth navigate the challenges of today’s world while developing strong, effective coping skills that will serve them for years to come.
I believe in the inherent resilience and adaptability of children, and I take a strengths-based approach to therapy, helping them unlock their potential and navigate life’s challenges. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including play therapy, storytelling, and art, to foster self-discovery and encourage children to express themselves in ways that feel natural to them.
While working directly with children is my primary focus, I also recognize the critical role that families and support systems play in a child’s healing and growth. I am deeply committed to collaborating with families throughout the therapeutic process. My approach is rooted in empowerment, helping clients build self-acceptance, develop new coping strategies, and gain clarity on their path toward personal growth.
Madeline is currently able to see clients with OHP/Care Oregon, Moda & Regence Blue Cross insurance. Madeline also accepts private pay; offering a 25% discount for same day payment as well as a sliding scale for all other clients.
